I heard about a San Fransisco palette but dont know what it looks like?? |

the san francisco slant palette is a flat plastic tray, about 9" deep and 13" wide. along the top edge of the palette are eight shallow round paint cups, about 1" wide, to hold raw paint. below them are 8 shallow mixing areas in two rows of four, each area about 3" square, with bottoms slanted to allow graded mixing of colors. below these, along the bottom edge, are four 3" round mixing cups, about 1/2" deep, for mixing and holding washes. in general the palette is overly fussy in design and not especially convenient to use. |
