Zoe-- Level of experience.---Check the write-up for each instructor. Most classes are for all levels, although some might be for intermediate and experienced painters. Don't be intimidated-- there are always beginners there, and it is a very friendly and helpful group. |

Eugene - another important question that just hit me this minute. Are these intended for the "more" experienced watercolourist? I am just a novice. Thanks again! |

Zoe, I've signed up for the second and third Springmaid sessions in the spring. First choices for instructors are Frank Webb and Gerald Brommer. With a littlr bit of luck I'll get both of them. They're both so popular that the classes will be filled-- with a waiting list. Otherwise, I'll be satisfied with my second or third choices. All of the instructors are good. Glad you talked to Claudia. She's a great gal and very helpful. Hope to see you in the spring. |

Eugene - thanks SO very much for your upbeat response to my question. I talked to Claudia Thompson tonight to ask questions - especially about the lottery bit. Are you planning to attend any of the March workshops? I am giving it much serious thought! Enjoy your Bradshaw! |

Zoe, I've been attendng the springmaid workshops for many, many years and have seldom been disappointed. The accommodations are great- all waterfront rooms in a resort atmosphere. Food , cafeteria style is plentiful. And the work space is comfortable and uncrowded and convenient. You don't have to be concerned about anything but your painting, because everything is taken care of for you. The best part is that there are about 150 artists attending, and you live sleep and dream art for the whole time. Plenty of activities for non painting spouses an other guests. Social hour (free cocktwil, beer, wine) every evening before dinner, Guess you can tell, I like it.-- Leaving next Saturday for a week in Glenn Bradshaw's class. Classes are usually filled (25). and they are by lottery, not first come. So you don't always get your first choice. BEST BUY IN WORKSHOPS! No, I don't work for Springmaid. |

Does anyone have any experience with the watercolour workshops at Springmaid (Fort Mill, SC). They have 3 different sessions coming up in March that look interesting. Thanks. |
