I have to agree.....Arnold Lowery is a modern master.

I have purchased a painting from him and just being able to look at it daily is a lesson. I also have prints of his.

He does have giclee prints for sale. They teach so much by just looking at them. :)

He's the artist that I most want to take a workshop with.

Sea and Sky but he also recommended Starting to Paint which, besides beginner stuff, has info on waterfalls and other stuff of interest. I ordered it. He also has videos.

I've learned a great deal from Arnold's work and words. He's been a major influence in my tools and what I look at in terms of colour and form.

It is always a pleasure to see his paintings and learn how he's worked. I haven't figured out how to work standing up, like he does, but perhaps that will come with more experience.

Thanks Arnold.

Arnold, who is a participant in this discussion forum, is a really great painter. I discovered this from his posted pictures and also from ordering one of his books. I have learned a lot form studying his work and book. He is one nice guy and a helpful guy to boot. As it turns out, his style and palette and general subject matter are exactly what I have needed to study to make the advancements I have needed to make. I am so happy that I have run into Arnold and his work. He is making a tremendous difference for me.
