Check another topic under watercolor topics for excellent recommendations. (This question has been asked before.) |

The good ones aren't made any more. |

I used to paint outside with a block in my lap. Now I use a vertical easel (Integra). The vertical easel works fine unless one is doing wet-in-wet, afaic. |

For plein air work, I like to use my lap. I prefer a vertical easel for studio and figurative work. |

Hello everyone, if you use them at home or elsewhere, I was wondering what type(s) of easel(s) you think are the best. I try to get outside with my WC kit when the weather is nice and I'm always thinking about better ways of doing it. Easel? Tripod? Lap? Thanks, Michael |
