Easel accessories for location painting

What happened to that perfect molded plastic attachable palette tray that Sun-Eden used to make? There are 10-12 of us who are in danger of becoming hunchbacks. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks. Love the easel but my arm gets tired supporting my Pike palette. Any other suggestions for customizing the easel (as well as great tips for location painting!) would be truly appreciated.
